The blade is manufactured using high-quality 420 stainless steel that has added Molybdenum, which gives the steel excellent edge retention, high durability, and exceptional rust resistance. This knife features high quality, razor-sharp, stainless steel blade with brass rivets to permanently secure the handle to the tang. 

The ‘Samprene’ handle that is available with most Staniforth knives is a new variant of plastic that has been designed and developed to combine both the strength and durability of polypropylene with the softness and serenity of rubber.

This knife is easy to clean which increases hygiene and is a staple tool for any butcher's shop or kitchen.
