This pinhead rusk comes in a 20kg sack, ideal for producing large quantities of sausages and burgers. This is the finest and classic Yeastless Bread Rusk made by Ripon Select Foods in North Yorkshire.

Rusk is basically a yeastless bread that is baked and dried and then processed into pinhead-sized crumbs. When rehydrated during the sausage-making process it helps to create that succulent texture of a classic British Sausage.

The fact that the bread is yeastless prolongs the shelflife of the sausage ensuring no bacteria can build up in a short amount of time.

The rusk is of the highest quality and is used by butcheries, farm shops and abattoirs up and down the country.

Keep in a dry environment or large sealed container and this Rusk will last for at least 12 months.
