Cured in salt and packed into sealed Vacuum pouches our Butcher Pack contains enough casings to make approx. 360lbs of sausage. This pack contains 4 traditionally salted hanks of good coloured casings, 90mtrs tied with a black tag and vac packed. They are ideal for Farm Shops & Butchers. These Hogs are graded to 35/38mm wide & make a superb Cumberland or Lincolnshire style sausage. They are also ideal for Boerewors, Bratwurst or Chorizo.
All these Hog Casings are prepared from Prime British Hog (Pork) Casings and are carefully selected and graded by a team of skilled staff. Each length of casing is water tested, graded, & finally cured in salt. British Hog Casings are strong in the filling but much more tender on the palate than most imported Hog.
