This is the Home Pack is a 24/+mm Premium Quality Sheep Casings. Ideal for anyone wanting to make sausages at home in small quantities. This pack will make a beautiful looking breakfast type sausage but can also be used for continental sausages that require a smaller diameter.
Sheep casings are more tender on the pallet than hog casings but are still strong and produce a succulent looking sausage.
This pack is ideal for small users and comes sealed in two easy to use vac pouches cured in salt, with 40 meters (2 x 20 mtrs) which will fill out approx. 11-12kg (25lbs) of sausage.
We recommend they are stored in a sealed in a Tupperware type container in a fridge, where they will be fine for 6 months. Before use, they need to have the salt rinsed from them and then soaked in warm water for at least 20 minutes, or overnight, prior to use. A step-by-step guide on how to use them is included with all our casings.
