These are natural dried hog casings crafted for producing charcuterie products. These casings are the smallest in our range at 32mm diameter, with each rod measuring 10 metres in length. The casings are supplied on individual rods and are designed for making dried sausage like chorizo, Sujuk or Andouille.

Product Details

These dried hog casings measure 32mm in diameter, making them unique due to their small size among dried hog casings. They are manufactured to precise specifications to help users produce consistent and uniform final products.

This casing is ideal for users preferring slim tapas-style salami or thin chorizo. Since the casings maintain their shape from one end to the other, there is no waste.

Subsequently, these casings serve as an ideal alternative to standard hog or beef middle casings.

As these casings are dried before supply, they do not have an odour and can be stored indefinitely in a dry place.

To use the product, soak the casings in warm water (preferably between 40-42°C) for just a few seconds. This aids in easily removing the casing from the spool and, while improving elasticity and increasing its durability.
