This is the Butchers 24+ British Sheep Casings that are on the spool. They come in 4 packs of 80 metres (320 metres), and make the perfect British Sausage. Simply soak the casings on the spool in warm water and they are ready to slide straight onto the nozzle of your sausage filler. This system saves time on threading the casings onto the nozzle & also cuts out operator wastage.
The 24+ calibre makes these casings deal for making a typical breakfast type sausage that is not too thin nor too wide. These 'wide' sheep casings are strong in the filling, with good long lengths, but very tender on the palate when eaten. All our casings are selected to a strict A/B quality with every yard water tested prior to being spooled & cured in salt
