These are premium 26/+mm sheep casings tied on a ring as a hank. They are the widest sheep casing we supply and will produce a quality sausage that any butcher can be proud of.
The casings are flexible and easy to handle yet remain tender when you bite into the sausage. Each pack contains a total length of 80 metres. You can expect good long lengths in this pack making them ideal for anyone looking to make large batches of sausages.
Product Details
With a diameter of 26/+mm, we class these casings as an extra-wide sheep casing. These casings have a lovely flush colour and offer users greater flexibility than narrower sheep casings. The casings are vacuum-packed and salted ensuring they are preserved with a good lengthy use by date on every pack we supply.
These extra-wide sheep casings are strong when filling, have quality long lengths and are very tender on the palate when eaten. All our casings are selected to a strict A/B quality with every metre of casing water tested before being tied to a ring and cured in salt.
They are ideal for anyone wanting to use sheep casings but prefer a slightly wider sausage and are becoming one of our most popular calibres amongst butchers in the trade.
