The stainless steel blades help to remove excess air trapped inside the casings. This Salami Pricker is made from a high-quality food-grade PVC base that is embedded with stainless steel needles. The needles are fine and sharp enough to penetrate the casing without causing it to tear. The prickers enable you to create a hole large enough to expel the excess air yet small enough to prevent the bacteria or other contaminants from penetrating and infecting the meat. 

The pricker comes with a plastic protective cover for safe and easy storage.
