Casings are our speciality! We produce all our own Sheep Casings using casings from English and Norwegian Sheep. The Home Pack is a 26/+ Wide Premium Quality Sheep Casing…. ideal for chipolatas and breakfast sausage. It is a very tender but strong casing that produces a very succulent looking sausage. The Home Pack comes with 40 meters (2 x 20 mtrs) and will fill out 20-25lbs of sausage. We also produce and can supply other sizes… 16/18mm, 18/20mm, 22/24mm, 24/26… for every speciality sausage… please phone for details. All our Natural Casings come in easy to use packs and are cured in salt before dispatch. We recommend they are stored in a sealed ‘Tupperware’ type container in a fridge…. where they will be fine for at least 3-4 months. Before use they need to have the salt rinsed from them and then soaked in warm water for at least 20 minutes prior to use. If you have not used Natural Casings before please ask for our step-by-step guide and we will include the leaflet in you first order.
