We now have available all our Selected Sheep Casings pre-spooled on Hard Blue Plastic Rods in Butcher Packs for next day despatch. Simply soak in warm water & the casings are ready to slide straight onto the nozzle of your sausage filler. This system saves time on threading the casings onto the nozzle & also cuts out operator wastage. Cured in salt and vac-packed these ‘Butcher Pack' Spooled Sheep casings are selected from Premier Norwegian Sheep. This selection is a 24/26mm wide casing…ideal for a typical breakfast type sausage that is not too thin nor too wide. These 'wide' sheep casings are strong in the filling, with good long lengths, but very tender on the palate when eaten. All our casings are selected to a strict A/B quality with every yard water tested prior to being spooled & cured in salt. 400 metres (5 x 80mtrs) in five easy to prepare vacuum sealed packs. W Weschenfelder & Sons Ltd has acheived BRC Global Standard -Food to Higher Standard for the fourth year in succession (12/11/2007). This includes the manufacture of Natural Sheep Casings from the receipt of Raw Materials to the despatch of Finished product. All our Casings including the packaging come with full tracability. |
